Steve's Story II

This is the last of my throw away drawings for Steve's "High on Sunshine" concept. Very simple, and to the point, a raincloud is following this guy around. It's supposed to be symbolic of his life, but I didn't do a very good job of conveying this visually. It's a half-hearted attempt I guess, but then again that's why it didn't make the cut initially.

* Do you see the pocket I drew on this guys shirt? I don't know why I did that. I hate pockets on my shirts, that's why a rain cloud is 5 inches from his head i guess.

Steve's Story

The next couple drawings are of a concept that my friend, who is now in the Air Force came up with. The story is based on a song by Linoel Richie " High on Sunshine", it was basically a music video. So the story goes (according to Steven) that this chap here, sleeping lives a pretty boring life, until he meets a girl (who coincidentally lives a sad/boring life as well) and together they are happy. Anyways this is how it went and I placed some of the concept drawings here because it never got off the ground.

Another drawing of a demon that I had a dream about. I think this demon was also the "red Wizard" for those of you keeping track at home.

The "Red Wizards Staff". This was a sketch I did after a dream. I wanted to use color becuase I thought it would enhance the over all feel of the sketch becuase of how vivid the dream was. It didn't work. Ended up looking cheesey.

If you turn your head to the left these are two people arguing. This image was another "throw away" from the same group of sketches I did for a Halloween story board. I liked the angle, it's just that the image didn't fit the storyline. I'm sure I could have fit it in, but my laze prevented me from doing so.

Hawaii III

I made this drawing for an idea that my friend Steve English had, it was a pseudo-story board

This was a chair that was staring at me while i was bored.

Same chair, differnet angles

Again, with the Story board

Walking in the rain.

Hawaii II

Another doodle of tattoo ideas. I was trying to get the pattern worked out.

Ditto here.

This kinda looks like the United States

Here was a more complete thought of how the patterns would match up with each other.

I was playing a ton of chess in Hawaii, so I bought myself a chess set. The words below say

" Feb 20, 2006, Cloudy day, No internet, #2 Pencil, shading rough, eraser does not blend/smudge. Angles off, cool anyway
